The Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science has recently introduced a new prestigious European research initiative: Into Change Award.
About the Into Change Award
The Into Change Award is a newly established award that honours outstanding European research groups who have demonstrated exceptional research contributions or insights of societal significance, guided by core research values of curiosity, collaboration, responsibility, respect, and openness. With the award, Denmark seeks to highlight the essential role that research plays in Europe.
The award is open to all fields of research and available to research groups based in Europe. The Into Change Award amounts to a total of DKK 8 million, part of which comprises an honorary award, with the remaining funds designated for research activities within the recipient’s field. The award is presented by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science with support from the Carlsberg Foundation, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and the Villum Foundation, part of the VELUX foundations
Deadline for nominations: 01 August 2025 at 12 noon.
Award ceremony: Mid-December 2025 in Copenhagen.
